Laurinburg, Pump Station Renovations – Contract 17.4 – Pump Stations 9, 14, 15, and 17

Bids for the Bridge Creek Basin Gravity Sewer Replacements project will be received by the City of Laurinburg until 5:00pm local time on Tuesday, December 10, 2024. Bids shall be submitted via email to Harold Haywood at hhaywood@laurinburg.org.  Receipt of the Bid will be acknowledged by return email.  The Project consists of replacing 473 linear feet of 10-inch and 1,009 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer and abandonment of 500 linear feet of 8-inch gravity sewer.

Laurinburg, Bridge Creek Basin Gravity Sewer Replacements

Bids for the Lead Service Line Inventory, Vacuum Excavation Field Verifications were received by the City of Laurinburg on Thursday, September 12, 2024. The Project consists of vacuum excavation of water service connections on both sides of specified water meters to verify pipe materials at service connection.  The work consists of verification of pipe materials on both sides of 354 meters located in the City of Laurinburg.

Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract 16.0 – North Elevated Tank were received by the Town of Mocksville on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at which time the Bids received were publicly opened and read.  The Project consists of constructing a 500,000 gallon elevated storage tank, approximately 90 linear feet of 12-inch water line and all appurtenances.

Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract 15.0 – Southpoint Pump Station and Force Main were received by the Town of Mocksville on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at which time the Bids received were publicly opened and read.  The Project consists of constructing a new duplex, submersible pump station, approximately 3,096 linear feet of 8-inch force main, and all appurtenances. The new pump station will replace an existing, smaller pump station to be demolished at the project site on Enterprise Way in Mocksville, NC.

Sealed Bids for the construction of Contract 18.0 – Elevated Storage Tank Improvements were received by the City of Laurinburg on Thursday, May 2, 2024, at which time the Bids received were publicly opened and read.  The Project consists of repair and recoating of two elevated storage tanks, clean and paint valve piping, repair grout at foundations, and all appurtenances. The tanks included are the Caledonia Road tank (750,000 gallons) and the 401 South tank (500,000 gallons).

Sealed bids for the construction of the Flocculation and Sedimentation Improvements were received by Cleveland County Water on Tuesday, February 29, 2024,  at which time the Bids received were publicly opened and read. The Project consists of constructing three new rapid mixers and two new flocculators, renovating the existing sedimentation basins and flocculators, extending the chemical feed system, and installing approximately 115 linear feet of 24-inch raw water line including all appurtenances.
